So October was busy but uneventful. I'm moved into a new trailer since new units are coming in for their rotation. The PX and haji shops are always busy nowadays with all the new guys which is usually annoying; however, it's also amusing how cool they think the $3 movies are or watching them freak out when artillery sounds or a mortar comes in.
I didn't time it quite right, but as you can see, the neighborhoods around here are pretty cool looking.
IEDs can certainly leave a mark...

So, I've been trying to upload a picture of the ING hating dog that is at this new detail, but the internet connection really, really sucks. Oh well.
I start heading home for leave on the 13th. Definitely looking forward to seeing everyone then.
