We had a little field trip to go to a class EOD set up on local mines and munitions. The RPG launcher here had a quality scope built into it. It's seems odd that insurgent attacks with this weapon are mostly inaccurate.
So, I've been buying a variety of audiobooks recently because of the convenience. The best one I've listened to is a reading of John McCain's Why Courage Matters. The narrator's tone changes fairly well from subject to subject. The reader did much better than the one in Inventing a Nation. I've gotten a few "best of" from Harvard Business Review too. Very peachy.
I'm making a steady effort to get into better shape for another up and coming PT test. Another motivator is to be buff for when I get leave.
Now if I could just motivate myself to be more expedient with that math class I'm finishing up...

They are finally making it so that we get 8 hour shifts every day instead of the stupid 12 hour shifts with a sporadic day off.
Here's an update - they say I'm getting leave in December now. That shouldn't be too bad since people will be back home around then.
