Alright, back at Blackjack and back to the beginning of the end of the rest of the year. Home on the range wasn't too exciting... but it was relaxing. We all got to ride in a helicopter back during the night also. It was for sure a highlight of recent events.

I heard that one of the bigger battles last year was fought in the range area. That'd explain the old Iraqi army vehicles scattered around the fields.
Really nothing else interesting to report...

Wow, there are quite a few people in some pretty deep emotional pain out here. I just heard a messed up story about a guy and his now ex-girlfriend that was heartbreaking. It's hard to come by support for that kind of a thing when you're out here. I feel for him and a few other guys with similar horror stories about events back home.
In brighter news, I got a picture of some Soviet vehicles, including a T-72. Also, the Butler range project (aka mustache project) is going nicely. I feel that people, should they see the current status of the project, would consider me approximately 20 times dirtier than before.
The home on the range out here is otherwise quiet. Reading, running, and chilling are what's on the menu.

Hey everyone...
Came across an addicting game and a good trailer at http://www.sticky.tv/game/cyrkam_airtos/index.html.
I'm going to leave the base for a couple of weeks doing something else. Hopefully I get some good pictures or something. I'm bringing a crapload of books... mostly on political and economic theory, current and classical.
I saw an article about modular homes in the copy of The Rake. The highlighted "pre-manufactured" design in the article was made by Charlie Lazor. The concept really doesn't look too bad. I think the test would be to visit the prototype house in the middle of the Minnesota winter though.

I'm very proud of myself for my totally Ashtonlicious Ashtonness.
So, today I got to see Iraqi Police take an Iraqi Policeman in cause he was stealing an air conditioner from a contractor. Since this sounded like a continuing problem, I don't really think anything happened to the bastard. It's disappointing for sure...
