So yeah, if I was a videogame character, supposedly this is who I'd be.
Just setting up an RSS feeder on my day off here so I can be really lazy and not have to load websites if I don't need to.
That is all...

So, I've been stuck on a detail these last two days guarding the military remnants of an abandoned base on post here. The remains of the old Iraqi airline happened to be at the location which lead to the great photo opportunity that I've shown above.
I haven't posted since a few weeks ago. We've been working 14 hour days every 6 of 8 days which really puts a stunt on free time.
That's it for now...

I was reading in the Star & Stripes today that a faction of militants in Iraq have demanded that al-Zarqawi (the al-Queda guy) leave Iraq of else they'd hunt him down. I find that to be an interesting development. It wasn't until the vigilante group los Pepes started hunting Pablo Escobar (the drug lord) and his associates that he was finally found and killed back in the late 80's. Situations were you allow groups like Los Pepes are precarious, but I think that the ability for counter-terror guerilla groups to work outside of the law makes them an exceptionally effective towards other radical groups. The problem with such groups is the potental for their objectives to change later on... The name of the group in Iraq is Islam Salvation or Iraq Salvation or something Salvation. I'm going to keep my eye open for any news related them...

Saddam may be silver-tounged and good at playing to the emotions of people, but lets not forget what an abomination he really was. Here are a few pictures to keep everyone's thoughts on some of the facts going against him in this trial. However, I warn you that these images are graphic.
