Update - I leave the US of A tomorrow in the direction of Kuwait! I'm actually feeling kind of excited. Hope to talk with everyone before I go.

Hey everyone,
Just got done with the planned training at NTC - the wettest desert I could ever have imagined. I read the rainfall was record breaking so it can't be all that normal though. It was good practice for the real thing, but there are really only so many times you can go over the same thing before getting bored. Today we had a live fire which was the finale of our stateside training. This next week will be firing on ranges - and hopefully some time off (Vegas baby!). According to the schedule that was put out to me, we should be in Kuwait in about a week. From Kuwait, we'll convoy up to the Baghdad International Airport with an anti-SAM mission in general.
I'll keep y'all updated with my APO address when I get it. It sounds like they have ethernet hookups at the airport base-camp... Hopefully I see my friend Reedo in country to (he'll be leaving the airport while I'll be heading to it). From then on, I'll try not to count the days untill I get back... easier said than done...
