My intent was to have a more flexible schedule this semester. A schedule where I could do things on a whim. With the million little projects for ROTC, the thick, thick, thick study involved with tax, and the required largess of time devoted to an enormous management project, this conception of free time has crawled out of my mind. Maybe that's the spiritual substance of this nasty earache I have right now.

Well, I've managed to squeeze in a few hours here, there, and over the weekends to update my resume and post it on job sites across the internet. As a result, I've found out that, apparently, the need for insurance salemen knows no bounds. Their needs have broken right into the unrelated "auditing" and "tax" categories that I have targeted my online resumes towards.

At least this lull in future job opportunities reaffirms my decision to increase the number to possible career paths by taking the GMAT and LSAT. The GMAT was pretty hard, I screwed up a bit on the math section, but I got an above-average 620. The LSAT was really hard - especially the logic puzzles. I'll find out if lawyering is a potential future in a couple more weeks.
