The new 150 hour requirement for the CPA has brought me to a fork. Right now, I estimate graduating about 18 credit hours short of the 150 without an internship, and about 9 short with an intership. So, what's the best path to take? Should I try squeezing in a few more electives? Should I forgo the internship and work on a MBA or a MAcc after graduation instead? In that case, should I try overloading myself with a couple more 18 credit semesters so that I can start a Master's program sooner? Is a Master's really practical with no work experience?
Time to start asking around.
