Life is but a stage, and right now I have my pilot hat on. I've had two flight lessons so far, and each flight has been an awe-inspiring experience.
Once up in the air in a tiny Cessna 152, your field of vision is an almost complete 360 degrees. You can feel the plane getting tossed sightly in the wind through your own bodily senses and the shaky yoke as you steer. Traffic is scarce and your obstacles are clouds.
Each session I've left with the calm feeling of enlightenment. And hopefully on Saturday I'll be up there again.

Online communities are like being in kindergarden. People have their own space to doodle, only a few actually try to apply the grammatical standards -- founded from centuries old precedent -- present in the English language, and PPL like 2 EmOtE tru EXTenZIVE use of capital key combinations and character substitutions which, from what I can tell, were birthed from fond memories of those notes five year olds pass back and forth.
And I've seen enough stick figure pictures (the good ones are animated) to truly last a lifetime.
As you've probably figured out, I'm trying to take the higher moral ground when it comes to preserving culture as I know it. But I'm not so perfect. Here's a picture I just posted on a friend's Myspace profile:

I should have seen it coming. Prior to getting my wisdom teeth removed, I already knew one of them was blocking, well, actually causing, a huge cavity. So, after the tooth was removed and the novacaine wore off (no gas for me), I had cantsitstill pain going on in my molar.
The better part of this was that I was able to run out and get Vicodin. The worse part, well, my regular dentist who handles cavities isn't available until the 23rd. I don't have enough Vicodin to last until then.
I would consider myself fortunate overall though. This is only the second cavity, the first in my adult teeth, that I've had to deal with. I've got a high pain tolerance, but that toothache pain is something completely separated from regular pain. I can maybe imagine the same pain might come from having my leg blown off or something.
Well back to some more pain and suffering. Maybe I'll try meditation or something.
